Our O&G Operator client is currently looking for a Work Preparator, on a long term PAYE contract.

Purpose of Role:

Onshore Work Preparator is responsible for improving the effectiveness of Work Management through detailed technical job planning and efficient scheduling working closely with the Integrated Activity Planner, Offshore Work Estimator and Offshore Work Preparator and Asset Maintenance & Integrity Focal Point

MAE/MATTE and
HSE Critical Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and HSEQ procedures
• Contribute to driving the Maintenance & Integrity Execution delivery performance to protect against potential process safety incidents, with a primary focus on Legislative & Regulatory requirements.


Areas of Responsibility Competence Level: Work Preparation
Accountable for accurate, timely and comprehensive preparation of CAP Preventative, Corrective and other Work Orders to support efficient execution of work on the Company Assets

Responsible for compliance with IAPS and Work Management Processes:
• Scope Constrained Activity Plan (CAP) Work Orders, identify and sequence tasks, materials, labour, services & tools, updating the Work Management System appropriately
• Assess Work Criticality against performance standards and business plan to ensure accurate prioritisation of work
• Estimate Work Order task durations and resource requirements
• Identify constraints, for example plant status required for work execution and any external or production constraints
• Liaise with appropriate roles (Company & Vendor) in the preparation of Purchase Requisitions and call-off materials, equipment, tools and labour for all CAP activities.
• Ensures the quality of each work order prepared meets the requirements of each Gate Criteria, as per IAPS Process.
• Monitors outstanding CAP work requests and statuses with Offshore Work Preparator and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete review and approval of maintenance Work Orders following scoping phase

Quality Assurance Scope
• Monitor work readiness, reporting on adherence to gate criteria and escalates issues to the OIM as appropriate
• Facilitate reviews, updates workorders and confirms changes are correctly replicated, follows up on actions, based on decisions made.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to onshore and offshore management as required, including KPI review

Communications
• Act as the focal point for CAP Work Order preparation and liaison with onshore and offshore stakeholders
• Present and explain all facets of the work order tasks and resources, to ensure full understanding of all relevant parties
• Engage with key stakeholders to ensure work preparation inputs are delivered on time and to the required quality
• Cover the Offshore Work Preparator role where required
• Any other reasonable duties as instructed by your Line Manager
Critical Skills Qualifications Experience, etc.:
• Appropriate technical / process education or equivalent
• Proficient in use of Computerised Maintenance Management or Work Management Systems with valid experience of application in Process Plant Maintenance.
• Demonstrable ability to carry out end to end preparation of technical tasks, defining appropriate resources and sequencing for each element involved
• Role model HSEQ behaviours.

• Strong skills for conceptualising and analysing priorities and plan conflicts
• Broad oil and gas background with significant project planning experience. Overall understanding of entire value chain including projects, subsurface, HSE, logistics, procurement, design/construction, operation, maintenance / inspection
• Awareness of Client HSEQ Policies and Business Management System (BMS)
• Awareness of Client Energy Values & Business Principles
