Gas Operations Technical Support (GOTS) Department is the overall umbrella that is overlooking several Gas plants technical disciplines including plant network and cybersecurity disciplines. Each plant has its own plant network and dedicated control systems. Thus, Plant Network & System (PN&S) group within the GOTS department is responsible for providing high level technical consultation, support, assessments, initiatives, etc. The job's candidate is going to be part of the PN&S group.
You should be able to perform the following:
Conduct annual assessments on industrial control networks and systems as mandated by corporate standard requirements for all Gas Plants.
Conduct cybersecurity maturity and compliance assessments plants' networks.
Investigate and utilize new technologies and processes to enhance security capabilities and implements improvements.
Conduct site visits to respective plant to perform the assessments, provide technical support, etc.
Technically review future plants' projects such as expansion projects, systems upgrade, etc.
Develop and track obsolescence management or technology deployment plans.
Participate in strategic planning and initiatives to enhance plant network cybersecurity levels
Ensure security standards and procedures are followed by each Gas Plant.
Support PN&S internal audit, Information Security Department (ISD), Information Protection Department (IPD), and other related entities.
Develop engineering or technical reports related to cybersecurity assessments, projects, etc.
As a successful candidate, you
Hold a Bachelor or in Computer Engineering, Computer Science with Cybersecurity focus, or a related technical discipline. Master's degree is desirable.
Have 15 years of experience as a network engineer in an implementation and operational support role.
Have experience in Network Security - Firewall, ACL, IDS, IPS, SIEM. Have Experience in Microsoft - Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server. In addition, an experience with anti-virus systems, backup & restore solutions, system management.
Have solid understanding of networks, routing, switching, protocols, security, firewalls, DLP
Are familiar with network management concepts including fault identification/isolation, configuration, and performance management
Are Certified in: CompTIA Security+ , CCNA security , CISSP , CEH. Certifications in CISA , SANS GPEN, SANS GXPN, SANS GIAC, SANS GREM,OSCP certificates are recommended.
Have a strong knowledge in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools and technologies
Can work independently or with minimal direction on multiple phases of complex operational activities and projects.
