SERVICE DESCRIPTION
- Crude oil pricing computation and administration - negotiate and secure liftings.
- Ensure quality and accurate reports from Commercial Department and also meeting deadlines for the department's work processes
Budgeting and forecasting
- Manage the business planning process in accordance with the Joint Operating Agreement, and ensure that the Participants have accurate and timely OPEX budgets
- Specifically, preparing the annual budget and the three-year rolling budget, integrating input from suppliers, challenging the submissions from suppliers, and optimizing the budget based on feedback from shareholders
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing JV Bank Account and 'cash calls' through the Finance Committee and invoicing
Financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting on the wind farm to the Project and shareholders
- Engage with shareholders to draw on their experience to resolve issues, disputes and claims
- Manage the commercial aspects of the contracts with Service Providers and other stakeholders, including contractual dispute resolution
- Resolving commercial issues and disputes, especially claims
- Evaluate and approve work orders
- Manage the annual shareholders' audit process
- Ensure that all aspects of operations are carried out in accordance with the Joint Operating Agreement and its Key Policies, and within the mandate given by the Executive Committee
- Ensure compliance with Governance and Purchasing procedures
- Manage lease agreements, consents, environmental issues and contractual obligations to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory provisions
- Manage all operational insurance policies on behalf of Participants, including procurement of insurance brokerage services and management of procurement activities for the operational insurance
- Manage the interface between our client and its Trading & Accreditation Service Provider
- Arranging, preparing for and chairing the Finance, Insurance and Trading & Accreditation sub-committees with shareholders; ensure decisions and actions are documented accurately.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Chartered Accountant and related bachelor's degree MBA or similar level in related discipline (Finance, Economics, Tax, etc) preferred 15+ years E&P experience, including 5+ in a senior management role.
- Strong commercial background, ideally in an international joint venture
- Familiarity with finance packages, eg, SAGE, Sicon, SAP
- Strong financial leadership and management
- Experience of preparing, managing and challenging budgets

- Strong communication skills, and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, international environment
