Partner with the best

Designer you are responsible for generating all the relevant product 3D models and detail drawings, general arrangements, schematics, layouts, running sequences, testing and Interface details for new products, tools, and associated documents/drawings. You will be responsible for System designs from early engagement through the full design cycle to production readiness interpreting the engineering requirements, assessing the factors that will affect the outcome of the designs and finally defining the dimensions and tolerances required to meet fit, form, and function.

As a Lead Designer you will be responsible for:
  • Generating 3D and 2D designs from the interpretation of internal design and customer specifications and verifying against current manufacturing and assembly practices.
  • Producing detail, machining, fabrication, and assembly drawings/models using Creo to ASME Y14.5 2009 standards and format with attention to tolerance studies and verifying fit, form and function at max, nom, and min conditions.
  • Creating part specifications and revisions as part of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Teamcenter process clarifications, workflows system updates and improvements
  • Designer will be responsible for creating the layout, detail and assembly of designs including required fixtures and assemblies for verification testing.
  • Creating system layout assemblies and drawings when applicable, showing new products in running sequences with new or existing running tools.
  • Creating conceptual designs meeting project requirements and layouts for review following company design process management
  • As required support Engineers in creation of Bills of Materials
  • Retrieving and submitting data in Teamcenter following company protocols
  • Identifying and ensure equipment is designed in accordance with the current Health, safety and environmental legislation and safe operation.
  • Identifying improvements in existing products, procedures, processes and develop cost effective solutions to satisfy specifications.
  • Understanding and applying design for manufacture principles for turning, machining, drilling, milling, and welding processes to ensure designs are suitable and allow for efficient manufacture and assembly.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Minimum 4 years of engineering design experience
  • Working knowledge of Creo or Pro Engineer 3D CAD software
  • Extensive knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and application of same
  • Has established experience in drafting standards
  • Familiar with relevant industry standards and codes for Subsea Wellhead equipment (API 17D, API 6A, etc.).
  • Good understanding of fabrication and machining processes.
  • Familiar with design process methodologies
