Partner with the best
To own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer.
Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function.
Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space
As Customer Application, you will be responsible for:
Develop, prepare, and write Centrifugal Compressor technical proposals, to include compressor selection and performance calculations, rotor dynamic calculations, cost estimation, scope identification, deviations to client specifications etc., all according to company processes and procedures
Utilize deep knowledge of various markets, applications and best technology to offer
Utilize knowledge of applicable API specifications for Centrifugal Compressor, driven equipment, and related auxiliaries such as API 617, 614, 613, 671, 670 etc
Be responsible for the compliance to customer technical specifications and identify deviations
Ensure the technical aspects of a proposal are complete and compliant with the customer's requirements and present our solutions in the most competitive way
Ensure the correctness of the scope of supply
Develop accurate costs of proposed solutions
Participate from a technical perspective in Customer presentations, discussions, negotiations, conferences, and all front-line marketing / sales effortsDrive internal targeted cost reduction for specific deals and overall products
Support and drive productivity / process improvement initiatives
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary team such as Engineering, Supply chain and external vendors to ensure timely flow of information
Work with the Region Commercial team as a key partner in the strategy development to create winning proposals, providing technical expertise in analyzing region Customer's needs and selecting, implementing and developing the most competitive GE technical solutions
Work with Region Commercial team to influence Customers' specifications
Promote and position business early in the project phase by working closely with consultants, engineering companies and end users
Be accountable for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) performance, with respect to compliance with programs and procedures, and fulfilment of personal Goals & Objectives
Support global sales and commercial teams

To be successful in this role you will:
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in O&G segment
