A client in Oslo are looking to make the addition of a Project Planner to their team on a long term basis to assist with projects in 2022, 2023 and beyond.
We are looking for an experienced Project Planner who will work within planning and progress reporting, specifically within ongoing projects. As a planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the progress plan through the implementation phase up to commissioning and handover. Ideally you will have a good understanding of both planning and project execution as a field of expertise - and can actively contribute to "World Class Project Execution".
The client is a leading global technology company that is driving the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive and sustainable future, spanning a wide range of customer segments such as oil and gas, subsea electrification, power from shore, offshore wind, hydropower plants, industry, infrastructure, and aquaculture.
  • Develop and follow up progress plans through all phases of the delivery projects
  • Collaborate with key participants in the project, including Project Manager, Engineers, Document Control and Controller
  • Ensure that plans and reporting are in accordance with contract
  • Establish and maintain effective routines to monitor and control actual progress of the entire delivery.
  • Identify, analyse and report nonconformities to project management
  • Assess and manage the importance of change and additional work for critical progress in the project
  • Actively participate in the risk management process with a focus on any impact on progress
  • Higher administrative, economic or technical education
  • Has "Planning" and "Project execution" as the subject area
  • Experience in planning infrastructure planning (road, rail, construction) - and/or from oil & gas projects
  • An advantage of experience from an EPC/total supplier
  • Experience with the use of planning tools, preferably Saffron or Primavera
  • Benefit from knowledge of MS Project and preferably various dashboard tools like Power BI
  • Preferably knowledge of SAP, but not a requirement
  • Good language skills in Norwegian are required
  • Must master English fluently in writing and orally
