Senior Emissions Process Engineer

Schlumberger End-to-end Emissions Solutions, SEES offers end-to-end services to help customers achieve their GHG emissions reduction goals. The team offers consulting services to understand customer goals, baseline emissions inventory, and create a strategy to plan and execute the deployment of methane and flare measurement and reduction technologies. Data from multiple sources and measurement technologies are aggregated within the Schlumberger Emissions Management data platform, optimizing further emissions reductions in future years.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As part of the GHG emissions consulting team, this person will be responsible for analyzing customer facilities, customer emissions inventory assessments, baseline emissions estimates, and advice on most appropriate and cost-effective measures to reduce emissions and meet the customers' GHG emissions reduction targets.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degreed engineer, chemical / petroleum engineering preferred
  • 10+ years of experience related to gas production and processing
  • Experience in both the design and operation of gas production / processing facilities.
  • Process knowledge covering dehydration, amine contactors, gas scrubbers, gas compressors, condensate recovery and stabilization, cryogenics
  • Understanding of process integration concepts
  • Basic knowledge of instruments and controls

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of emissions reduction technologies
  • Knowledge of emissions measurement technologies
