Join our Upstream Chemicals Team!

Our Upstream Chemicals team oversees our chemical technology solutions for hydrocarbon production, transportation and processing. We are a leader in oil and water separation technology and in solutions to control corrosion, scale, wax, souring and bacteria. We provide chemicals and support for integrity management, flow assurance, and production optimization, manage water treatment, and resolve environmental issues.

Partner with the best

As the Senior Materials Managers you will be r esponsible for the areas that support the identification and development of the product offerings for the business . Participates in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions. Develops the year plan for of the larger unit.

 

 

  • accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Presents product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leads (EB and SEB) across Baker Hughes.
  • Handles complex medium term project processes. Department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.
  • Handles important business unit clients. Complex processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally.

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Product Manager.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
