Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a PACO Instrument & Control Engineer for a 6 fixed term contract based in Aberdeen.
Performing assurance on Shell projects to ensure Shell Safety and technical requirements are being met.
Interpret Shell requirements and if the intent is being met by engineering contractor / project
Demonstratable SAP knowledge
Integration of multiple scope
Knowledge of PMRs and the impact on when each type can be carried out
Leading of multiple vendors offshore to achieve the scope
Direct supplier management
Knowledge of SFD2000, Maglok and experion systems
Providing support to Shell PACO engineer with Gannet TAR '22 scopes.
Providing technical input to vendor discussions and integration with the vendor.
Attending constructability, IPOP and critical path reviews.
Risk action / TAR Action completion where required.
TAR technical support during execute.
Technical review of materials ordered and identifying gaps or requirements
Drafting of eMoCs for Instrument and Control related TAR workscopes
Skills / Qualifications
CEng / IEng - or significant experience required for this role
FS Eng - TUV would be useful
Previous Experience of Shell TA structure and ways of working in Shell Projects
Familiarity with Shell DEP structure
Operations / maintenance experience would be an advantage
