The contract Constr/Facilities Engineer provides design, implementation and management for moderately complex oil, gas, and water surface facilities. Works with a broad group of engineers, operations, construction and EHS staff. Works under minimal supervision.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as an operations or facilities engineer and related experience in upstream production facility, artificial lift equipment, and SWD facility design and operations.

• Support the facility engineering and construction team during the planning, execution, and closeout phases of brownfield facility retrofit projects to achieve emission reductions, operational efficiencies, and hydrocarbon recovery goals
• Consistently carry out site visits to collect all relevant data from existing facilities
• Perform all required engineering technical design work including but not limited to process modeling, pipe sizing and stress analysis, control valve specifying, relief valve sizing, tank venting and vacuum relief calculations
• Develop detailed construction packages consisting of written scope of works, plot plan drawings, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, bill of materials, final cost estimates
• Manage multiple ongoing projects at once tracking costs, materials, and schedules
• Collect, update, and organize large facility equipment data sets
• Work in conjunction with safety, environmental and field operations personnel to communicate and lead best practices on facility operations
• Possess the right and obligation to stop work if an unsafe condition exists

• Oil and gas industry experience preferred

• Knowledge in state/province and federal regulatory laws and regulations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Creative individual, capable of analyzing and solving problems.
