As part of Baker Hughes Energy Transition strategy, CIPS (Clean Integrated Power Solutions) business build up is a critical element aiming to respond to contemporary and anticipated Customer and market requirement as it pertains to efficient energy production, storage and decarbonization.

Partner with the best

You will be responsible for the execution and coordination of the activities pertaining to the NET Power program across Baker Hughes. You will lead the execution of the program on budget, performance and schedule, coordinate the activities across multiple functions and be in charge of operating rhythm with internal and external partners and stakeholders. You will also manage the risks of the programs, organizing the mitigations accordingly.

As a Senior Program Manager - NET Power Program, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning overall master plan definition and execution, budget and resource plan.
  • Coordinating Program Manager(s) on the main pilot project and research & development initiatives and take successively ownership of dedicated tasks and potential sub-programs.
  • Liaising with other functions accountable to assess in-house competencies and gaps to execute opportunity.
  • Engaging and coordinating with the external partners and stakeholders of the program, including NET Power and possibly the other company board member.
  • Working across organizational boundaries to ensure efficient and successful delivery of innovation programs the outputs of which will be business cases for new product / solution concepts.
  • Identifying and working with third party suppliers e.g., consultancies, as required, to provide additional skills, expertise, and resource to deliver projects.
  • Liaising with functional leaders, planner and other program manager(s) to manage the project resources appropriately to ensure projects are delivered within the timescales and budget as per program plan.
  • Performing variance analysis and scenario planning to allow proper reporting and decision making.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a BSc. or MSc. in chemical engineering and a solid background in a related field.
  • Demonstrate experience with Product Leadership, program management, project management.
  • Have previous technical experience or hands on turbomachinery; like but not limited to centrifugal compressors, gas turbines and others.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence teams, customers and stakeholders.
  • Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions.
  • Be able to travel internationally to visit customers or Baker Hughes locations.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills, be fluent in English.
  • Have experience in program/project management and managing external delivery partners.
