The Lead Electrical Engineer role provides diverse work responsibilities including; Integrating with technology New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering teams to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability, assembly, and complete test coverage.

Developing new applications, supporting / troubleshooting of existing hardware and manufacturing tests. Hardware test development for In Circuit Test (ICT), Module Test, Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS), and Final System Test.

The position requires individuals to be on-site so they can work with the new project development teams and support of the manufacturing operation. However, remote working is possible on occasion depending on on-premises support and overall project development conditions.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Interfacing with technology engineering teams on new product development ensuring they are integrated into the manufacturing production process meeting all critical manufacturability requirements.
  • Analyze analog and digital circuits to ensure they meet specifications and/or to find root cause of defects.
  • Design necessary test fixtures, circuit boards, and tooling for new products and in supporting existing product fixtures.
  • Support manufacturing operators, technicians, and supervisors across multiple work centers to troubleshoot manufacturing test and fixtures.
  • Perform Third Part Reviews analyzing test and board designs to determine defect root cause and corrective actions.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in Electrical Engineering design, development, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital and analog circuity
  • Experience with In Circuit Test (ICT) design, development, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Agilent - Medalist i3070 Series 5
  • Experience with National Instruments LadView, TestStand, and PXI Equipment.
  • Experience with debugging tools: oscilloscopes, multi-meters, function generators.
  • Experience in embedded systems and/or programming object-oriented code C/C++/C#.
  • Knowledge using mechanical CAD Software.
  • Knowledge or experience in boundary scan testing and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Bently Nevada product line.
