Position description

We are seeking an attorney with commodity trading experience to join Saudi Aramco's Law Organization in its headquarters in Dhahran Saudi Arabia.

Specifically, the Trading attorney is expected to provide the following:
  • This attorney will provide commercially oriented legal advice to Aramco Trading Company (ATC), a wholly-owned Saudi Aramco's subsidiary.
  • Work closely with lawyers in Aramco Trading Singapore, Aramco Trading London and Aramco Trading Fujairah.
  • Broad range of general corporate support including all related commodity transactions, governance, litigation, compliance, risk management, environmental, human resources, and technology.

  • ATC is the Middle East's premier trading company for refined petroleum and chemicals products, providing a global integrated platform for the downstream assets of Saudi Aramco and its affiliates, supplying the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Indian subcontinent.

    Saudi Aramco's Law Organization is growing in response to a broad corporate initiative that involves the continued growth of its exploration, production, refining and marketing, along with expansion into petrochemicals, renewables, power and other sectors of the energy business.     Minimum requirements

    As the successful candidate, you will have:

    Six plus years of relevant experience supporting a trading organization either in an in-house or outside counsel capacity.

    Specific experience in one or more of the following areas would be a plus: maritime or shipping, commercial transactions, governance, litigation, and compliance, risk management, environmental, human resources and technology.

    Candidates must be currently licensed, admitted to practice, and in good standing in the United States, England and Wales, Canada, or the European Union.
