Take responsibility for the safety of our workforce

As Product and HSE Regulatory Compliance Leader, you'll lead a highly-motivated team of skilled specialists ensuring the well-being of our workforce and compliance with our HSE standards. You'll interact directly with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure regulatory requirements are met. You'll develop functionality and continuous improvement of our innovative HSE program.

As a Product and HSE Regulatory Compliance Leader, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Design and drive a compelling and effective Product & HSE Regulatory Compliance (P&HSE RC) strategy for Turbomachinery and Process Solutions (TPS) to ensure regulatory compliance of products, projects, services we deliver to our customers, as well as operations we carry forward worldwide
  • Enhance awareness and knowledge about P&HSE Regulatory Compliance and drive an interdependent culture for compliance across TPS
  • Develop an effective and efficient system to detect new or changing P&HSE regulations (regulations) relevant to TPS products and operations and make them available to the Business Units and the rest of Baker Hughes
  • Ensure that such regulations are understood, cascaded to, and owned by each Business Unit
  • Advance a lean and effective governance system to identify most significant risks of non-compliance, address and manage them
  • Continually improve the overall P&HSE RC system to augment its efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead and nurture a global team of some 10 professionals
  • Be part of and contribute to Baker Hughes P&HSE RC steering committee to share and implement good practices, optimize costs and resources, manage key enterprise non-compliance risks


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent (relevant regulatory compliance experience will be considered).
  • Significant experience in engineering or regulatory compliance experience gained in a global industrial context or organization
  • Proven experience in motivating and leading a global team, as well as in influencing a broader set of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to promote an environment where diversity, equity, and inclusion are practiced as strategies to achieve result and care for people
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable global Regulations, such as IEC, ASME, ATEX, LV, PED, EU Machinery directive, Russia/Customs Union, China, REACH, TSCA.
  • Fluent in English
