The role

Vysus Americas Inc. is seeking an Asset Integrity Engineer (AIE) based in our Houston location to provide support for existing and new clients within the Americas.

An AIE is required for ongoing projects located in the USA and globally. Suitably qualified engineers with relevant certification such as API 580, 510, 570, 653, etc. and industry experience are required to support various critical ongoing and future integrity projects.

 

You will:

  • Plan, implement and manage pressure systems integrity programs
  • Develop and coordinate execution of NDE Programs, inclusive of Advanced Techniques
  • Assist specialists and/or seniors in delivering services to internal and external clients
  • Conduct technical assessments under close supervision against defined specifications/scope
  • Collect data, evaluate, and present reports as required and in alignment to the KPI's and agreed processes
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards
  • Use IDMS software's including GE APM, PCMS and other RBI software's
  • Conduct systemization & circuitization
  • Create inspection test plans
  • Conduct anomaly assessment and categorisation
  • Be required to visit the client site to manage and supervise work scopes
  • Conduct client meetings to review progress and deliverables
  • Maintain focus whilst at client sites for new business/project opportunities and report back to line manager, business development manager and/or client account manager for follow up.

 

You will need:

  • Experience of risk-based inspection
  • Knowledge of NDT techniques, applications, and experience in inspection of pressure systems
  • Have one or more API certification i.e. 580, 510, 570, 653, etc. and have familiarity with industry standards
  • Experience with P&IDs, PFD's, HMB's and inspection isometrics
  • Familiarity with mechanical integrity software such as GE APM, PCMS and LR AllAssetsTM
  • Effective communicator
  • Analytical aptitude with a good attention to detail
  • Flexible, adaptable and a diplomatic individual
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • A willingness to partake in new technologies and test application
