Purpose of Role:
• The role is responsible for leading HSES incident reporting and HSES data analytics for the Client and for providing competent and proactive HSES and technical support to the HSES Team based in London.
• The role reports to the VP HSES International on a day-to-day basis and for personal appraisal & performance management matters, but is expected to be responsive to all team members, at all times.

MAE/MATTE and HSE Critical Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Client HSES Standards and procedures

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence Level:
• Management of Client International HSES incident reporting software (Synergi) including:
o Leadership and ongoing management of the Synergi Process Group;
o Being a trained and competent super user and delivery of training to others;
o Reporting of action close out from Incidents, Audits and Management Visits;
o Leading (for International) the integration of legacy company Synergi systems into a single Client HSES reporting tool.
• Data management, analytics and presentation of all HSES data streams for Clients International (company and key contractors) using approved tools (e.g. Power BI) across a range of HSES KPIs and datasets to include (but not limited to) greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental data streams, incidents and near misses, hazard reporting, emergency response drills and exercises, HSES audits and associated findings and actions.
• Leading key aspects of the Group HSES Learning and Knowledge Share process for International region including:
o Development of and then periodic reviews and population of the Client HSES Knowledge Share database;
o Collation of industry alerts from external sources and internal alerts generated by the BUs;
o Technical review of HSES Knowledge Shares and preparation of reflective learning materials issued by Client international BUs;
o The issue of Knowledge Share across Client International and the tracked of actions taken in response.
o Support for integration and improvement of the Group HSES Knowledge Share process into a single Client HSES system
• Management of content and technical support for Client International HSES MS content including:
o Interface with Document Control to facilitate document creation, revision, approval and withdrawal cycles;
o Periodic reviews of the master document register and associated metadata to ensure BMS content is accurately displayed and up to date.
o Development of roll out materials to support new / revised Standards (including PowerPoint presentations and/or e-learning packs;
o Administration and technical analysis of gap assessments submitted by Business Units against the requirements of HSES Standards;
o Collate common audit templates / checklists and tools for assessing the effectiveness of the HSESMS
o Integration / alignment of International BMS content into Client Group formats / BMS platforms
• Management of the International HSES Plans & Annual Assurance programme including:
o Tracking/monitoring/compilation of Plans and provision of periodic status updates;
o Coordination and status reporting for international assurance activities including Ops Readiness Reviews / HSES MS audits, Project Reviews, Safety Case Reviews and / or other assurance activities;
o Participation in audits to provide technical input & compilation of audit findings & report
o Oversight, collation and follow up of results arising from any Level 1 (external) audits;
o Follow up and reporting of action close out status against Level 1,2 & 3 audits.
o Co-ordinate with BUs the joint Leadership Engagement plan/schedule.
• Preparation of International region monthly, quarterly and annual operations & HSES Reports for the Leadership Team including:
o Overseeing prompt delivery of required production / HSES data from Business Units;
o Analysis and review of submitted data to help identify any errors or omissions;
o Generation of HSES Scorecards and other reports using Client HSES Reporting / Analytics tools.
• Support new Client Risk Management processes in the international region by acting as administrator for risk registers and provide technical support to International and BU system users in new Client risk management tools.
• Lead for London Office HSES including:
o Support to Facilities in delivery of London office HSES procedures;
o Admin support for the London Office HSES Committee.
• Provide technical support to the group Crisis Management, Security and London office emergency response team(s) including:
o Admin role on the CMT;
o Support for training and exercise programmes;
o Routine assurance activities to verify crisis room set up, equipment, available documentation and contact lists;
• Additional technical support to the International HSES team including:
o Support for the HSES travel risk assessment process for London travellers;
o Manage the content on the Group Connect (SharePoint) sites and migration of content into new group formats.
o Support integration of international BUs into MyTRaC competence management system, and report on progress of competence assessments
o Co-ordinate with the ESG and Environmental Manager the process for the non-atmospheric environmental and GHG data reporting, tracking and controlling.

• Working with the Business Units and the corporate teams us to secure the significant amount of data for the various deliverables
• Working within tight timescales were sometimes everything is not clear, working in the grey Developing support systems and processes to increase the overall efficiency of the operations team Developing the role through excellent delivery
• Managing the variety of tasks complex to simple within day with the same vigour
• Engage with different stakeholders internally (e.g. Leadership Team, BU Managers, HSES, Commercial, BD, Finance, and other Management roles)

Critical Skills* Qualifications Experience, etc.:
Qualifications:
• Engineering, science or HSE related degree
• Membership of accredited professional body e.g., IOSH, IEEMA, SPE
• Offshore medical and BOSIET/HUET and MIST for travel offshore
Skills / experience:
• Set upon a career as a technical or HSE professional with some demonstrable role(s) in technical or HSES Management in an Oil and Gas E&P or similar industrial organisation;
• Desirable; experience in Management System maintenance to international standards;
• Experience of working in the E&P sector is desirable (e.g., for operators, main contractors across drilling or production ops;
• Highly computer literate and numerate - ability to pick up and use new software with limited training;
• Formal document control and authoring skills also very useful
Knowledge (e.g., systems, software, procedures, regulations):
• Possess a good knowledge of international management system standards (e.g., ISO14001 and ISO45001).
• Synergi Incident Reporting or equivalent tool.
• Advanced in use of Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Word, and SharePoint.
