Our Oilfield-Services-Digital-Team works with our business to provide intelligent, connected technologies. We develop and maintain applications and tools for our internal and external customers for data acquisition, data processing and visualization. We collaborate with development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience, to develop innovative firmware and application software.

As a Software Developer, you'll take ownership of the development process, ensuring the continuous improvement of our code. Part of a Scrum Team, you'll collaborate with Product Owners and Domain Experts to create features for our applications. You will engineer and develop versatile products and services for the energy industry.

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and maintaining applications related to data acquisition, processing and visualization, ensuring continuous improvement and technology upgrades
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a diverse and multicultural environment to identity opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • Understanding the business needs, value, and scope
  • Working with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical project and product design


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be a graduate in Computer Science, IT or similar or demonstrate equivalent professional work experience
  • Have in-depth knowledge of .NET technology stack in C# using modern software development principles or demonstrate practical experience with developing web applications using web socket connections as well as RESTful interfaces
  • Demonstrate practical experience in agile development in a SCRUM environment
  • Have knowledge on Java-/Typescript and Angular framework
  • Show knowledge on the concepts of TCP communication protocols, such as WCF, OPC UA
  • Demonstrate experience in requirements documentation, verification, and validation
  • Show the ability to be a self-starter and a good team player
  • Have experience in WPF / WCF / PRISM / Visual Studio and TFS/Azure DevOps
  • Be fluent in English (oral and written) and excellent all-round communication skills
