The Procurement Leader will report into Suez WTS' Service Procurement Strategy Leader NAM and will be responsible for supporting procurement initiatives, prioritizing and delivering critical cost-out activities. These initiatives will mainly consist of new equipment purchases to support the mobile fleet build in our facilities in Guelph ON, Minnetonka MN and Norfolk, VA. The role will take over transactional operations and will provide a seamless interface within the Procurement team and with the Project/Manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Responsible to oversee the overall procurement process partnering with plants manufacturing team, Engineering, Program Managers
  • Coordinate with the Category management and the Fulfilment & PurchaseToPay (P2P) teams for key transactions, including supplier search, RFQ management, order follow up, etc until delivery of goods or services.
  • Obtain the savings target on the project and apply all standard levers available through the Procurement Team, while satisfying the cost, schedule, and quality requirements of the project and eventually minimize Total Cost of Ownership
  • Troubleshoot and solve schedule issues. Works closely with the expeditor.
  • Provide appropriate reporting to project team and Procurement management notably for part delivery and budget purposes.
  • Identify underperforming or non-performing suppliers during the project life cycle.
  • Collaborate with and support the Procurement Category team for developing supply agreements with key suppliers

Success in this role will require the ability to work in collaboration with a wide array of SUEZ internal stakeholders to identify, execute and monitor Procurement initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 5 years minimum experience in Purchasing, Production Control, Engineering, Product or Project management
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • ERP experience required, preferably with SAP
  • Knowledge of Suez or WTS business operations is a plus
