Delivers and facilitates learning programs in classroom and field to ensure qualified workforce for respective Aramco
business areas and functions. Works as a team member and subject-matter expert in the development,
implementation and evaluation of curricula. Advises Industrial Skills Trainers/Instructors I & II regarding
effective training techniques.

Key Responsibilities

The Sr Industrial Skills Trainer will be responsible for the following major job roles:

-The candidate will complete the approvals and indoctrination process then as assigned the candidate will serve in either an Operational Firefighter development capacity within 1 of 6 Divisions throughout the country or as an Instructor at one of 3 Training Centers located throughout the country

-Candidates will be directly responsible for training and development of new recruits (APNE's), Aramco employees (Proponents), FrPD Staff, Community members, Contractors and Business Partners as needed.

-The accepted candidate should be able to develop, maintain, track and implement FrPD curricula courses, measurement tools and documentation as required.

-The candidate will be expected to provide input to facilitate indirect job roles such as budget forecasting, materials inventory management & procurement procedures, facility & equipment utilization, mentorship & mid-level supervision and safe working environment operations.

-Candidates will be assigned to one of several possible additional duties to include administration/IT, materials/inventory, facilities/equipment/apparatus maintenance, course registration, administration, certification and documentation, safety, inspection and housekeeping.

-The candidate should support, enforce and abide by Aramco policies and FrPD GIs, SOPs as well as other related directives.

Minimum Requirements

Preference may be given to candidates who possess a Bachelor of Science (BS), or Associate degree in fire science or a closely related field.

-The department is seeking candidates with exceptional knowledge of fire ground operations in municipal and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have ten (10) years of experience in a fire department serving municipal, petrochemical, refinery, gas processing, airport, marine port, structural, commercial, industrial and residential occupancies including seven (7) years of experience in delivering fire training programs.

- ProBoard and/or IFSAC Certification as Fire Service Instructor I and Fire Service Instructor II are required prior to candidate consideration. Certification as Fire Service Instructor III is required within 12 months of hire as a condition of employment and is highly preferred prior to selection.

- Consideration will be given to candidates who are Certified Fire Protections Specialist (CFPS) or hold certifications in NFPA professional qualifications standards 472, 1081, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1006, 1021 or 1031.
