Job Title: Quality & Risk Coordinator


Department Overview
We are seeking a Quality & Risk Coordinator to join the Saudi Aramco Medical Services Management Department (MSMD). MSMD in its primary role as governance organization, oversees effective provision of cost effective and quality healthcare to Saudi Aramco's Eligible patient population under different providers including a Joint Venture with Johns Hopkins and a Third Party Administrator agreement with BUPA Arabia while governing the performances of providers using key performance indicators and in compliance with KSA government regulations and directives.

Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Healthcare, Nursing, Allied Health, or a related discipline. Master's Degree in related field is preferred.
It is preferred to have 10 years of experience in acute healthcare environment as a Quality/Risk Management professional in the healthcare sector, or related industries, including a strong background in delivering safety proven results. The experience should cover 3 years in Quality/Risk Management and Quality Improvement.
Licensed and registered to Practice in the Healthcare Profession, and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is preferred.
Excellent ability to communicate in technical English with peers as well as members of management, and be able to produce clear and concise oral and written reports in English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
Have knowledge of modern quality management systems, processes, and techniques applicable to the healthcare industry as well as international industry, recommended practices, and standards and specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Act as single point of contact for assigned proponent organizations.
Identifies industry standard quality and resource metrics to be adopted across all HCP's (KPI's) and participates in contract negotiations.
Monitors and reviews key performance and utilization reports and updates Medical Advisory Lead and Director of MSMD.
Conducts site visits with Medical Advisory to Healthcare Providers to monitor and review services and make recommendation on inclusion of Providers to the Saudi Aramco Provider Network

Monitors and advises on new Program/Service initiatives proposed and implemented by service Providers
Reviews and analyzes resource utilization and risk management as directed by the MSMD Medical Advisory & MSMD Management in concurrence with the Quality Improvement, ensures Utilization Management and Risk Management Plans are implemented in the Healthcare Provider Facilities (HCPF). Monitors and advises on medical and emergency services delivered through Remote Area Clinics (RAC's).
Responsible for oversight of risk management processes and data collection activities in HCPF that provide healthcare to Saudi Aramco. Reviews factual data provided by all HCPF QI departments. Trends risk issues, and analyzes all HCPF as it relates to clinical care. Reports findings to MSMD Medical Advisory and MSMD Management.
Reviews and reports on key Clinical risks of the Saudi Aramco Healthcare Providers (HCPs) to Medical Advisory & MSMD Management on a monthly basis.
Coordinates Risk Management activities including recording, tracking, and trending on any and all clinical notifications, claims and regulatory investigations and update Medical Advisory & MSMD Management.
Guides and confers with HCPs in completing appropriate risk assessment as per the approved format and requirement.
Reviews and advises on investigations and Root Cause Analyses of adverse and sentinel events. Reports all adverse events/sentinel events to the Medical Advisory & MSMD Management.
Guides and confers with HCPs in completing appropriate risk assessment as per the approved format and requirement.
Monitors and reports on Ministry of Health (MoH) Legal Cases notified by HCPs. Advises on complex risk, regulatory and legal issues for Medical Advisory.
Compiles project management risk assessment on all proposed new services as submitted and approved through Medical Advisory and MSMD Management.
Provide professional advice on industry specific best practices related to utilization management, review key hospital utilization reports and provide ongoing support to proponent organizations.
Monitors performance and utilization related to medical examinations conducted for period job fitness, direct hire and pre-employment programs.
Provide professional advice on matters related to population health across all HCPs. Identifies industry standard quality and resource metrics to be adopted across all HCPs.
Liaises and fosters good working relationships with all stakeholders involved in delivering healthcare to Saudi Aramco beneficiaries including Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), Medical Designated Facilities (MDFs), and Bupa Arabia.

Provide ongoing support to proponent organizations to assist them in implementing the Saudi Aramco safety and quality improvement objectives and expectations. This includes assisting proponent organizations in developing processes related to risk assessment and management, training, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, etc
Participate in or lead risk studies or conduct consequence analyses, this includes working with proponent organizations to identify safety concerns, formulate solutions, and develop practical and cost-effective corrective actions
Develop and update quality standards, instructions, codes, and formalize them into company documented practices as required.
