As a Field Service Rep with our Water Technologies Division, you'll play a critical role keeping some of the most advanced industrial water treatment systems in the world running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great team while working on sophisticated end-to-end water systems in industries like pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, semiconductors, and others. Plus, we love to promote from within and this role will help prepare you for other opportunities, including Account Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform water analysis and/or collects samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis. Collects cooling water samples for Legionella testing and performs onsite Legionella testing where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels. Calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintains log sheets. Conduct preventative maintenance on chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, piping, etc), and adequate supply of
    reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis.

To be well prepared for this role, here are some important things to consider:

Core Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent to High School Diploma
  • We need a combination of experienced Technicians and those new to the profession so while some experience in water treatment or environmental services is a plus, we have great training to support all experience levels.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment where on-call and rotational shifts are sometimes necessary

Other Useful Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) concentration is a plus!
  • Experience with industrial pumps and filtration equipment plus a fundamental understanding of PLC control systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus!
  • Tech savvy - ability to learn company and site-specific computer applications and advanced testing and monitoring equipment
