The Commercial Operations Manager within the Baker Hughes TPS Europe/CIS/SSA commercial team will play an essential role in the growth of the Services business in the Regional Hub. He/She will prepare proposals/bids, negotiate contracts and regional frame agreements with Customers

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develops proposals for spare parts, field services and repair, negotiates with customers and ensures deals deliver shareholder value by driving competitive pricing.
  • Manages complex commercial processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally (engineering, legal, risk, finance etc).
  • Prepares and manages regional Frame Agreements and negotiates dedicated Terms & Conditions with customers.
  • Leads the transactional deal process with the ability to structure creative, commercially and technically accurate deals.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (Mechanical/Aerospace/Energy Engineering preferred) from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience preferable in Oil& Gas /Energy market
  • Ability to influence the cultural transformation for sustainability, climate, energy transition, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
  • Knowledge of legal and financial matters in contract clauses, terms and conditions.
  • Ability to influence others and coordinate cross functional teams driving the stakeholders towards a common goal.
  • Understanding of different type of Customers and their needs to better customize offering.
  • Proven capability to establish good relationship with Customers and mutual trust.
  • Team player, active learner with positive attitude with the ability to build a healthy environment inside the team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Never-give-up, top say-do ratio, problem solving, self motivated with the aptitude to keep learning.
  • Provided of flexible mindset to drive himself to take initiative and action to pursue goals and complete task.
  • Multicultural mindset with the ability to recognize complexity of cultures and values.
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • EU Work Permit.
  • Availability to travel for business needs.


Desired Characteristics
  • Fluent in a third language (French, Spanish or German preferred)
  • Industry knowledge / competitive landscape understanding.
  • Knowledge of Contractual Services Agreements and site operations.
