PES is accepting applications to hire for the position of Offshore Dispatcher/Coordinator to work at our Houma, LA office location.

SUMMARY
Responsible for scheduling and dispatching workers, work crews and equipment to and from various company projects.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not supervise others or has hiring and terminating responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Obeys and follows all safety rules and policies.
• Schedules personnel, work crews and transportation to and from various company project locations.
• Relays work orders, messages and information to or from personnel, work crews and supervisors.
• Confers with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems and requests.
• Tracks and prepares daily manpower reports.
• Monitors personnel to ensure scheduled logistics have been completed.
• Advises personnel, workers and work crews about traffic problems, accidents, weather conditions and other hazards.
• Completes crew manifests when necessary.
• Perform other duties as specified by the General Manager - Offshore/Onshore-Offsite.

EDUCATION
• High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE
• At least 1 year of dispatching experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas industry.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Language Skills - must have intermediate level of English, both oral and written.
• Mathematical Skills - must have basic level of knowledge.
• Computer Skills - must have strong Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically Excel and Word.
• Equipment Skills - must be able to operate standard office equipment.
• Other Skills - must have strong organizational and time management skills.
