Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Front-End Developer with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular experience to help us develop and enhance market-leading, web-based enterprise applications for the energy industry. Our small, distributed, and self-organizing teams employ Agile methodologies to create a fast-paced, high-performing software development environment. The ideal candidate will work with product management, service, support, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and test multi-tier web applications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing development team that utilizes cutting-edge technologies to provide energy industry a leading production optimization software platform.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (not listed in any particular order)
  • Develop and maintain web-based enterprise software for use in the energy industry.
  • Perform design, code, and test of software based upon requirements.
  • Employ software engineering methods and practices to create artifacts to support the implementation and support of software products.
  • Support the creation of documentation and training material.
  • Follow development processes in all development activities.
  • Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.


Qualifications

Skills & Knowledge:
  • Proficency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
  • Knowledge of software design principles and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of web services and other web technologies.
  • Ability to translate requirements into a solid design and implementation.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Skills in analyzing complex problems and design appropriate solutions.
  • Strong diagnostic skills to track, trouble-shoot, and solve issues.
  • Knowledge of version control and issue tracking applications.
  • Ability to take direction and work well with others.
