Partner with the best

As a LWD (Logging While Drilling) Field Specialist you will be responsible for providing LWD solutions at well sites. Working under general supervision, you will collaborate with the Directional Drilling team, utilizing computers to perform well site surveys and monitor well sensors during the drilling process.

As a Field Specialist (LWD), you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the monitoring of the operational status of field equipment at well-sites to ensure reliability and availability
  • Solving often complex drilling problems, by monitoring, analysing and evaluating the situation using logging and drilling data
  • Rigging up surface acquisition systems and programming LWD tools to ensure efficient service deliverySupporting external customers and cross-functional teams at wellsite to provide technical knowledge and direction as needed


  • Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Geology, Earth Science or a related field
  • Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to identify and solve problems
  • Demonstrate a good technical and mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills
  • Be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a team player with ability to work independently
  • Demonstrate networking and computer skills and be familiar with MS Office
  • Have experience of day, evening or overnight remote operations and following operations center policies and compliance

Have an awareness of HSE requirements and be able to follow all safety policies and procedures

  • This role is working with our offshore customers based mainly in the UK, but could be rotated in the European region (NL, Norway, etc) . When onsite, you will have the flexibility to work in line with customer working patterns.
