Roles and responsibilities :
  • Develop and update tools and cost data for the cost estimates also providing consultancy and dedicated training
  • Coordinating with Engineering and Procurement, keep track records of historical material, manpower and engineering costs; generate itemized cost models and keep them updated;
  • Review proposal/quotes from vendor and compare with database cost model and previous returned data
  • Develop the "Basis of Estimate", on a Project basis, collecting all cost information in accordance with the specific Scope of Work/Supply;
  • Prepare Proposal's cost estimate summary for internal reviews for approvals, in coordination with Technical proposal managers;

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics or finance/accounting
  • 3 to 5 years of prior experience as Cost estimator and/or in Project Control in a project oriented organization (e.g. Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemical sectors)
  • Familiar with analyzing requirement data to develop material take offs and cost estimates
  • Working knowledge of project controls software such as Primavera, Aspen, Timberline, etc. with experience developing Class 5, 4 and 3 level estimates for Capital project
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • EU Work permit

Desired characteristics:
  • Experience in field construction and/or EPC contractor
  • Certified Professional Estimator preferred
