Partner with the best

As a Laboratory Specialist, you will provide a vital service applying the application of scientific and engineering methodologies. You will test and analyze the performance of potential concepts. Taking ownership of sites, you will ensure they have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner.

As a Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
  • Assist senior personnel in providing results and analysis.
  • Under direct supervision, conduct routine chemical and physical analyses by running tests, troubleshooting processes or procedures in support of the technical support teams.
  • Ordering of laboratory equipment and ensuring stock levels are kept up to date.
  • Carry out small projects as assigned by the manager or senior member of the team.
  • Communicate results to supervisor in a detailed manner.
  • Ensure housekeeping is up to date.
  • Carry out routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Associate Degree, High School Diploma or equivalent or specialized vocational training
  • Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of the appropriate analytical instrumentation including ICP-OES, Ion Chromatography, GC, HPLC, GPC, XRD, FTIR, and SEM.
  • Experience in performing basic tests in a laboratory environment.
  • Problem Solving Skills
