As a Senior Technical Writer, you will support the product documentation we need to do for all the different workstreams that will be supported in System 1 IAPM, especially Augury. Also, you will collaborate with product owners/SMEs to understand the requirements and features being built in the product and convert them into user comprehensible documentation and procedures.

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for:
  • Communicating complex information clearly, concisely and accurately.
  • Creating simple tutorials, review labels and messages within the user interface, and create release notes, FAQs, implementation guides.
  • Creating diagrams, collaborate with other writers to create a style guide, design efficient writing processes, edit white papers and other collateral. Also, you will constantly seek smarter ways to improve.
  • Being a customer advocate, striving to create the best information experience for the customer. Also, have good writing and editing skills
  • Having good command over English language and having the ability to express technical and engineering content into user comprehendible content. Also, skilled in core information development processes
  • Being skilled in time management, able to meet tight deadlines with multiple deliverables. Also, have Knowledge of core technical communication concepts, topic-based authoring, minimalism, task-oriented design.
  • Being able to collaborate with subject matter experts to research software products, understand requirements, determine functionality and design features, then communicate those effectively to the user
  • Working with global development teams, including flexibility to work and engage with remote teams during off-core working hours when necessary.
  • Being able to create compelling visual content and stories that convey key product and solution messages and themes while adhering to the company's brand and design.
  • Being able to break down software processes into tasks necessary to the targeted user and effectively explaining those tasks to the user.


Fuel your passion, To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have bachelor's in Journalism, communications field, Computer Science or related field with minimum of 7-8 yrs. of technical writing experience or master's with 5 yrs. of Technical writing experience
  • Have experience with following tools like MadCap, Adobe Flare authoring, Illustrator, Photoshop is desirable.
  • Have experience in Acrobat ProTech Smith, Snag-It Visual, Studio Acquia, Digital Asset Management (DAM) System, SAP etc. is desirable
  • Able to understand of the major aspects of software design, development, and QA and how they affect the information development process.
  • Have an experience working on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice
  • Have Awareness of Lean/Agile/XP software development processes. (Desirable)
