OBM are currently recruiting for an IT Co-ordinator on behalf of our client.
Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure, the role holder will be primarily responsible for coordinating the operation and delivery of IT services provided by key 3rd party suppliers based on ITIL principles. The role holder is expected to have the necessary skills and knowledge effectively carry out the responsibilities outlined below, including the technical expertise necessary to monitor, validate and otherwise ensure these services are being acceptably delivered.
This role is a global role, managing Suppliers that provide 24 x 7 service to all regions. Given the below responsibilities and accountabilities, the role holder will be required to work outside of normal business hours. The role holder must be willing and able to be on call and available to 3rd party Suppliers to ensure IT Services are not interrupted.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Cyber security and compliance.
Day to day management and coordination of 3rd party IT service suppliers.
Ensure 3rd party IT services are operated and delivered in line with IT policies and processes.
Escalate service failures, issues, and problems when necessary to the Head of IT Infrastructure.
Liaise with key strategic business partners as and when required.
Support end user communications on training and process related issues.
Maintain software licensing to mitigate any licence compliance risks to the business.
Validation of technical changes, designs, etc.
Liaise between support personnel, business users and process owners when necessary.
Be able to demonstrate a solid track record in quality, effective communication and achievement in the analysis, planning, design, documentation and implementation and supporting of IT systems to meet defined objectives.
Proven and demonstrable track record in medium to large enterprise environments.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in ITIL Foundations v3 or better
Experience managing IT outsourcing suppliers
Experience in IT Infrastructure planning and development.
General technical ability, able to contribute to and/or validate proposed technical solutions.
Project management experience.
Networking technologies and principles
Demonstratable skills and experience in Cyber / information Security and GDPR compliance.
Backup and recovery technologies
Cloud technologies (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365)
Microsoft Operating Environments, including but not limited to:
Windows Enterprise OS
Active Directory Management
The role holder may also be required to work at other locations operated by the Company as well as carrying out customer and supplier site visits.
