Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to support of a project at Northop area.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • In conjunction with the relevant discipline engineers ensure that anomalies are liquidated by the agreed due date. This involves planning any replacement work with engineering support and engineering instruction provided by the relevant discipline engineer. Where dates can't be met highlight early to engineers and agree mitigation or new dates so that there are no overdue anomalies.
  • Act as the onshore focal point for the management and prioritisation of the FM team by using the anomalies list, SAP work orders and ATR requests to agree staffing levels, work prioritisation lists and report backlog hours. Report monthly on progress against plan and projected hours for the year ahead. Hold FM project manager to account and drive for efficiency improvement and work hour liquidation based on risk and efficient use of resources.
  • Act as the onshore focal point for the management and prioritisation of site based plater integrity scopes of work and develop a similar reporting and management system as used for the FM work.
  • Support the engineers and IMC (Integrity Management Contractor) when adhoc speciality vendors and inspector are mobilised by managing the 90 day planning process and supporting with the generation of essential documentation, such as mobilisation forms and 3rd party tracking sheets
  • Act as the focal point for the 90-day planning /toll gate process for the integrity team and as the focal point for inputting integrity items (including all those listed above) into the 90 day plan and ensuring a smooth handover of tasks and responsibility to the site based planning team for execution of the scopes of work
  • Support shutdown and project activities that require integrity team involvement as required
  • Compile Asset Integrity Monthly SAP Reports
  • Occasional onsite mobilisations to plan or supervise key tasks


Skills / Qualifications

  • Time served (apprenticeship) maintenance background or a relevant engineering graduate with app Extensive mechanical maintenance planning and execution experience in a petrochemical environment with conflicting priorities
  • Experience of either pipework/steel work replacement or painting and insulation (FM) rehabilitation of in-service equipment (preferably both)
  • Familiar with SAP or other CMMS
  • HUET and BOSIET Certificates (or capability to pass) appropriate maintenance experience
  • Experience in Primavera P6
  • Office based with requirement to visit sites as and when required
