We are currently looking for a Specialist of Construction Quality!

  • Job Title : Specialist of Construction Quality
  • Location: Houston, TX

Description:

  • The position requires monitoring the progress of assigned Specialist of Construction Quality that review PHMSA documentation for a given project.
  • The assignee to this position performs product audits for given construction projects within their regions.
  • The assignee shall assist in the region-specific contract Exhibit B&D review before it is routed to the Superintendent of Construction and Quality Management for review.
  • The assignee will also assists with yearly specification revisions to ensure compliance with Company and DOT 192 regulations standards.
  • The assignee is responsible for supporting and promoting quality management best practices.

 

Duties May Include but are not Limited to the Following:

  • Manage documentation for compliance with regulatory, Company, and business requirements.
  • Ensure new document and records management and retention standards/policies are strictly enforced.
  • Develop and present department presentations as requested by management.
  • Serve as a good steward of Company resources, interests, and demonstrate integrity and trust through words and actions.
  • Work cross-functionally with technical groups

 

Requirements:

  • API 1169
  • CWI
  • NACE CIP1/2
  • First Aid


Desired Qualifications:

  • Auditing experience.
  • Quality auditor certification.
  • Experience building for pipelines and plants
  • Fundamental understanding of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Writer
  • Fundamental familiarity with writing SOPs, guidelines, and creating handbooks
  • Fundamental understanding of construction contracting
  • Fundamental understanding of the project lifecycles
  • Knowledge of Governing Regulations (API 1104 20TH Ed., Pipeline Safety Regulations 192, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to self manage
  • Ability to communicate effectively to audiences of diverse size and background
  • Ability to manage diverse relationships, build effective teams, and seek conflict resolution in a professional manner
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/responsibilities, and is well organized and results driven

Schedule:
10hr/day, 50hr/week.
