  • Support, direct and motivate the Environmental Team to drive best in class environmental performance within the Company.
  • Ensure base business and projects groups meet Regulatory environmental requirements for consents and reporting including UK ETS.
  • Oversee environmental impact, spill and chemical risk assessments for the production of Environmental Statements, PON 15s and OPEPs and other regulatory submissions for base business and projects groups.
  • Gather, interpret and present performance data for environmental aspects of operations including both base business and projects.
  • BEIS focal point to include coordination of inspections both on and offshore and radiation support.
  • Accountable for compliance with ISO14001.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the Company's Emissions Reduction initiatives, including emissions trading, and Energy Transition strategy.
  • Work with assets to drive identification, prioritisation and delivery of improvement opportunities
  • Represent the Company at Environmental industry and regulatory forums to maintain knowledge and understanding of current developments, requirements and best practices to ensure continuous improvement for the Company's environmental function.
  • Manage individual consultants and contracts relating to role.
  • Lead environmental input to the Emergency Management Team and coordinate with specialist emergency management vendors.
  • Develop and deliver staff training on environmental management pertaining to their position
Candidate Requirements
  • Consistently demonstrates excellent safety and environmental leadership behaviours plus team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proven track record of environmental management within the UKCS which must include emissions management plus coordinating Regulatory consents and reporting.
  • Proven ability to summarise complex datasets and effectively present summary information.
  • Demonstrated ingenuity in identifying and applying best available technologies and techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills to enable incumbent to present complex data effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordination of Environmental Statement generation, submission and approval by Regulators.
  • Experience of managing the environmental impacts of Decommissioning operations.

  • Degree in related science or engineering subject(s) or significant leadership experience within the field is required.
