Summary

The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for repair and regular maintenance servicing on Precision Rental's surface equipment and well site units.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipefitting, minor welding, plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry work as required
  • Cleaning, repairing, and painting equipment
  • Other general shop tasks as assigned
  • Requirement to work overtime from time to time as well as participate in an on-call rotation

 

Knowledge & Skills

Valid Class 5 Drivers License and current Drivers Abstract

Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S, and First Aid

Excellent safety record and demonstrated commitment to a safe work environment

Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently

Positive attitude and able to work well with others

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

 

Education

High school diploma

Completion of college and/or vocational and technical training is considered an asset

 

Experience

Mechanical knowledge and previous experience in a similar role
