As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will report to the marketing lead for Canrig Drilling Technology (Canrig), supporting the growth of the business unit by promoting products and services to existing and prospective customers through integrated marketing campaigns. This role will also include market research, data analyses and content development.


  • Develops strong relationships and collaborates with the sales team, product line managers, executives and customers
  • Drafts, proposes and supports the execution of integrated marketing programs, including social media, earned media, sponsorships, events and advertising
  • Plans and manages social media calendars and paid targeting campaigns
  • Creates and maintains an inventory of marketing brochures, case studies, presentations and other content
  • Contributes to the production of videos, animations and graphics
  • Maintains an events calendar; plans and executes trades shows
  • Performs data analyses and data entry to support sales and marketing projects
  • Designs and conducts global customer surveys
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Experience managing websites and social media - primarily, WordPress, LinkedIn and Twitter platforms

  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field of study; advanced degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of marketing experience


Energy industry experience is a plus, but not required
