Full Stack Software Engineer

Location : Menlo Park, CA

Responsibilities

  • Work with subject matter experts to clarify requirements.
  • Turn requirements and user stories into functionality.
  • Develop server-side services to be elastically scalable and secure by design. Services should be backward and forward compatible to ease deployment.
  • Develop web front end to be usable on multiple form factors.
  • Ensure the solution is deployable, operable and secure by default.
  • Apply usability procedures and principles as defined at project or Product Line level or through customer input.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with minimum 3 years direct experience
  • Learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work on a wide variety of tasks using emerging technologies.


The Full Stack Software Engineer will work at Schlumberger Software Technology Innovation Center (STIC) at Menlo Park, California. Schlumberger STIC is the newest facility of Schlumberger, located in the Silicon Valley, working in close collaboration with major players in the Valley network.
