Payroll and Time Specialist

Our Payroll Team provides support for the business for the Payroll or Benefits process(s). The individuals are responsible for each assigned local legislative rules and process. This role requires an emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions while providing coverage and support as needed.

As a Payroll and Time Service Delivery Specialist, you will assist in the implementation, modification, and maintenance of automated and manual time management systems to meet organizational needs. You will promote "Best in Class" service while developing effective relationships and working cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers.

As a Payroll and Time Service Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in the implementation, modification, and maintenance of automated and manual time management systems to meet organizational needs
  • Managing increased productivity and compliance through process improvements, standardization, and simplification within assigned area (s)
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and company policy requirements
  • Fostering a culture of customer service excellence and continuous process improvement by providing "Best in Class" customer service.
  • Providing advice on complex questions/requests from employees, businesses, and HR partners
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and company policy requirements


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Have extensive experience in payroll in the oil and gas industry
  • Have 3 years of experience working Time and Attendance system Kronos
  • Be proficient in SAP Payroll with at least 3 years of experience
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Have solid customer service focus, with the ability to anticipate customer needs with a high level of responsiveness
  • Have good analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to organize and analyze data
