Partner with the best

As a Principal Reservoir Engineering, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide reservoir engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects, including field development planning, reservoir performance analysis, and reserves estimation and auditing;
  • Conduct reservoir engineering studies using appropriate, state of the art techniques including reservoir simulation, material balance, decline curve analysis, well test analysis, PVT and SCAL data analysis;
  • Advise clients on reservoir engineering matters; on reserves and resources evaluation and reporting methodology;
  • Lead projects and manage multi-disciplined project teams, acting as the principal point of contact for the client;
  • Contribute to the development of other staff members for example through mentoring and to the maintenance of high technical standards through GaffneyCline.
  • Develop the client base through interactions with private and public clients, including national oil and gas companies, governments, international oil and gas companies, regulatory bodies, financial institutions etc.
  • Contribute to enhancing the GaffneyCline brand including presentation at external events
  • Presenting data, interpretations and reports to clients either individually or as part of the larger project team•


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

 

  • Desirable to hold a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven track record and global leadership credentials, ideally with experience of working for an operator and liaising with government entities
  • A track record of developing new business and extending current client relationships
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal communication and presentational skills, with recent experience of presenting at external industry events and report writing
  • Understanding of related technical disciplines and familiarity with the workings of multi-disciplined reservoir and field development studies with a proven track record of working in a diverse range of operating environments;
  • Thorough knowledge of reservoir simulation, material balance, decline curve analysis, PVT and SCAL data analysis, reserves and resources evaluation;
  • Highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced project management skills with a sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, and manage and measure work
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a drive for results and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
