Overview / Responsibilities

Massy Wood Ltd. is currently seeking expressions of interest for a Project Manager / Project Engineer role (listed below) for a potential project to be based in Trinidad.

Project Manager
  • Review and optimize work breakdown structure (WBS) for assigned project(s) based on the relevant Project Management Methodology (PMM) Stage Gate requirements.
  • Review and optimize project scope and documentation with input from all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and optimize integrated project execution plan for assigned project(s) including looking for opportunities within the portfolio of projects, and in line with oil and gas and petrochemical industry codes and standards.
  • Review and optimize project engineering and engineering manhours, resource allocation and cost estimate for assigned project(s).
  • Review and optimize integrated schedule based on agreed WBS for assigned project

Project Engineer:
  • Develop work breakdown structure (WBS) for assigned project(s) based on the relevant Project Management Methodology (PMM) Stage Gate requirements.
  • Develop project scope documentation with input from all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement integrated project execution plan for assigned project(s) in line with oil and gas and petrochemical industry codes and standards.
  • Develop the cost estimate for assigned project(s) in line with Cost Estimating guidelines.
  • Develop the integrated schedule based on agreed WBS for assigned project(s) in line with Scheduling guidelines.
  • Participate in Process Hazard Analysis utilised in the Energy Sector. These can include but not be limited to HAZID, HAZOP, SAFOP and LOPA


Skills / Qualifications

  • First Degree in Engineering (BSc, BEng).
  • Membership of a professional body preferred.
  • Typically a minimum of 5-10 years' relevant experience.
  • National citizen or permanent resident of Trinidad & Tobago
