Job Description:

Schlumberger DELFI cognitive E&P environment is a collaborative technology that unites the E&P life cycle in the cloud. It's open, secure, scalable, and fully managed, seamlessly connecting people, data and leading software applications across exploration, development, drilling, production and midstream-all delivered through a flexible and personalized SaaS subscription model

MpTC oversees multiple DELFI projects and services. The position offered here is linked to one of the DELFI project called: DELFI WellboreX

The new team members will be working with people collocated in Montpellier but he will also need to collaborate with people in other Schlumberger locations. Most communication will then be in English.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Build sophisticated and elegant user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with user experience and visual designers, developers and product owners to implement scalable and interactive applications.
  • Keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
  • Provide technical leadership and documentation to developers and stakeholders.
  • Apply usability procedures and principles as defined at the project or Product Line level or through customer input.
  • Build prototypes, products and systems that meet the project quality standards and requirements.
  • Contribute to and supports re-use through common components that are well documented and tested.
  • Interact and engage with customers, users, Product Managers and Technical Architects to understand needs and increase the positive impact on users' experience.

Qualifications and competencies:

Soft skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player with a 'can-do' attitude

Technical skills
  • Angular / Typescript o Design and Development in Angular required
  • Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on work experience
  • Git
  • Basic Python
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and cross-browser compatibility
  • UI Designer skills
  • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience on GCP or AKS or OCP
