Peterson are currently looking for a Contracts Advisor to support our Group's global operations.

This function allows for the provision of general contractual advice and assistance to all areas of the Group to enable the Group to conduct its business legally taking into account its commercial objectives.

You will be responsible for but not limited to:-


  • Review, negotiate and draft a range of commercia/contractual agreements.


  • Manage commercial/contractual compliance in terms of existing agreements.


  • Facilitate and verify that relevant analysis has been undertaken within the Group to evaluate risks relevant to commercial matters.


  • Support development/projects work and drafting and negotiating of all associated documentation.


  • Provide support for general corporate matters as related to the business.


  • Maintain a regular liaison with all areas of the business.


  • Responsible for identifying and advising the Group on complex contractual issues associated with the implementation of the corporate strategy and the mitigation of identified risks.


  • Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required provided you have the necessary training and competency levels.


  • At all times, work in accordance with the company's Health, Safety and Environment procedures and the Group Operating System.


Qualifications & Personal Attributes

  • Experienced Contracts Advisor with previous significant experience gained within an industry role or a respected private practice firm.
  • Degree preferred but not essential.
  • Focus on results and willingly tackle problems or conflicts which threaten their achievement.
  • Gather facts and figures and achieve goals in a timely manner.
  • Ability to lead, encourage, train and support others in order for them to meet their objectives.
  • Ability to manage own work to ensure schedule and budget targets are understood and met.
  • Be a self-starter, capable of working on own initiative in order to achieve tasks.
  • Good time-management and organisational skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
