  • You will be the Quality Control Engineer - CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Specialist that will be in charge of programming, and training of operators to run the CMM. You will work as a collaborative team member with cross-function teams to ensure all seals are thoroughly verified to meet our standards. You will provide support to Quality Control Leader on the wider Quality Control operation of the site.
  • As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Creating program for CMM (Coordinate-Measuring Machine) inspection and perform inspection using CMM and other inspection tools to qualify material.
  • Training of CMM operators.
  • Support Quality Control leader in training and competency of Quality Control team, both technical aspect as well as QMS related.
  • Support quality control process of the wider business operation which is not limited to completion, inspection, and distribution of all quality records and non-conformance reports to ensure 100% trace-ability and compliance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in lean and improvement project to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting knowledge
  • Participate in investigation related to Non-conformance or customer issue resolutions.
  • Complying to HSE & Quality policy. Actively participate in HSE and Quality programs and training as assigned

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have minimum Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical education.
  • Display a good ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Show a working expertise of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Have experience working with metrology hand tools and gauges
  • Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate a thorough and logical approach to proactively solving complex problems
  • Be open minded to pick up new knowledge, and conduct training for inspectors accordingly.
  • Prior experience in Gage repeatability and reproducibility, Statistical Process Control will be an advantage.
  • Have permanent work authorization to be able to work in Singapore
