Play a pivotal role in our business
As the NCS Sales Leader you will be responsible for growing the OFE profitability across all OFE product lines and P&L's. Targeting Energy companies in the Nordic countries focusing on Norway and Denmark. Establishing, building and maintaining beneficial relationships with all levels of the Baker Hughes OFE organisation, leveraging cross-functional and cross-business resources to maximize market penetration. You will demonstrate leadership in managing new accounts penetration as well as development of existing accounts and partnerships, directly impacting short and long-term tactical, strategic and commercial objectives to set the tone and shape of the sales organisation for Baker Hughes Oilfield Equipment.

As a Sales Leader you will also be responsible for:
  • Leading and directing a team of Sales Account Managers to ensure delivery of sales targets and building of strong customer relationships.
  • Driving and shaping a regional growth strategy that fits with Baker Hughes' business objectives developing the tools and culture to execute successfully against product company targets
  • Defining and implementing marketing and commercial strategies to increase order volume and profitability, achieving commercial targets, goals and objectives set by OFE including orders, CM, cash & revenue
  • Providing deal team leadership within the region through the innovation of proposal strategies that capitalize on BH's competitive strengths, defining sales agreements in close cooperation with relevant Product Line commercial organization
  • Driving occurrence of regional commitment weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually to ensure business opportunities and commercial issues are accurately addressed
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting visibility and market analysis of potential business and relevant customer intelligence


Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have considerable experience of working within the Upstream oil and gas sector
  • Have experience with a competitor to Baker Hughes, an Operator or equipment/service company ideally associated with Oilfield equipment
  • Show deep knowledge in the Energy sector, particularly in NCS region in relation to (IOC's, NOC's EPC's & Independents with a dedicated interest in the industry and an active member of relevant groups and forums with a passion for thought leadership
  • Have expertise in strategic business development, sales team management, sales tools and processes and show ability of driving business development through partnerships, customers, segments and regional penetration strategies
  • Have proven ability to influence senior level stakeholders and those at C-Suite in customer base with negotiating skills to support sales team when necessary
  • Have a customer focused and forward-thinking mindset, knowing how to influence stakeholders towards change and improvement
  • Be fluent at communicating in Norwegian
