Our Wireline Services team arrange technical expertise to meet our client expectation. We provide customers with the peace of mind needed to reliably and efficiently improve their operations.

As a Workshop Engineer - Wireline Services, you will provide technical guidance and insight to support the delivery of multiple customer projects. You will play an essential role in identifying improvements to products, processes and procedures.

As a Workshop Engineer - Wireline Services, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a safe wireline workshop operations and preparation of equipment to ensure valid data acquisition at the wellsite
  • Supervising and coordinating the team at the workshop to allow an effective loadout process
  • Supervising equipment in the workshop to provide specific logging and wireline services on time every time to our clients
  • Planning and preparing a load out, troubleshoot faults and follow-up reporting as required
  • Maintaining asset records, load out documents, completes all necessary paperwork, and updates all required reporting systems
  • Performing all required duties and responsibilities safely and as described by Baker Hughes procedures and Managing the job Cycle


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geology or equivalent work experience
  • Have a thorough understanding and competency in oilfield wireline operations and services
  • Have experience in high pace environment and strong organizational skills
  • Be a good team player and a proactive self-starter that is accountable and exhibits ownership
  • Be a good communicator and fluent in English. Norwegian language competency is a plus
