  • Assemble and test valves and components, partially or completely.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of basic assembling/testing principles. Tasks assigned are simple and routine in nature.
  • Participates in problem solving exercises with trainer, lead, and supervisor.
  • In training to use and select the proper pressure gauges, pressure chart recorders and tools for valve assembly and testing.
  • In training to understand assembly drawings, SPs, QPs, work instructions and tools and equipment needed to perform assembly operations with minimal assistance.
  • Ability to perform internal stenciling and/or marking for required traceability purposes.
  • Becomes familiar with computer systems used to retrieve relevant work documents such as engineering drawings, routings, and other documents as they relate to assembly and testing of valves or related products.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of safety policies and procedures (Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Quest, etc.). Operates overhead crane and other capacity lifting equipment (forklift) safely (training provided).
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and programs.
  • In training to learn skills necessary to effectively communicate and work with customers during witness processes to ensure customer compliance.
  • Leadership is confined to self-management of own workload.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
  • In training to work in one or more specific areas of assignment with minimal assistance: Assembly, Testing, Valve Extension, Actuators, Painting, Pass to Stock.


Minimum Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • +5 year\u0027s experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
