Primary Purpose of Job
Conduct incident analysis and technical studies for the purpose of preventing HSE incidents and ensure that all offshore operations incidents· are effectively and professionally managed inline with the Corporate and inter-departmental Standards and Procedures.
Degree in Engineering/ Science or HND with recognized safety courses such as NEBOSH Diploma/General Certificate/ Diploma or Degree in Industrial Safety/safety Management. • Certification /accreditation in the use of an incident analysis tool (e.g Tripod Beta} • Successful completion of other mandatory HSE Trainings/Awareness Programs.

Skills • Ability to apply knowledge and expertise using professional techniques, to solve HSE incident related issues • Good investigation skills, good analytical, data interpretation and compilation skills, good computer knowledge. • Good leadership, command and control skills • Good presentation, training, and negotiation skills. • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing • Ability to work effectively with various personnel and in teams, and be flexible in work assignments. Experience Not less than 10 years in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE} as a Safety Officer/Safety Inspector, inclusive 3-5 years as an incident/accident analyst in oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
