ICT TECHNICIAN (Application Distribution & Deployment)

Primary Purpose of Job
• Provide 3rd line ICT technical support to resolve user's issues according to the agreed Service Level Agreements to minimize business disruption. • Research and troubleshoot complex Desktop and applications issues with different vendors and users. • Provide user requests fulfilment, awareness, and support by attending all assigned tickets to enhance user's computing experience within QP. • Package, test and deploy software through SCCM and perform manual installations when required. • Monitor the health of QP PCs in terms of availability of SCCM client along with all of the standard security and connectivity tools. • Maintain and ensure proper documentation of various technical documents, knowledge base, and tickets updates on systems and assets inventory system. • Apply OS updates/upgrades and security patches for all endpoints applications. • Apply IT standards, policies, and procedures on ICT related assets and offered services, and report any breaches to supervisor for proper action. • Communicate customer needs and requirements to supervisor towards achieving high customer satisfaction levels. • Submit ICT related reports requested by supervisor to give management higher visibility of ICT support status. • Analyze user requirements and requests, apply required solutions according to ICT polices and standards.

• Technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Electronics or equivalent). • Minimum 5 years post-diploma experience in installing and supporting Desktop environment equipment in an enterprise environment (Oil and gas organization is preferred)

Experience & Skills
• Industry certification in major IT products, e.g. A+, Microsoft, ITIL..etc. • Proficient in the usage/application of standard diagnostic, test equipment and software tools. • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills. • Ability to work independently and the ability to work with other teammates in collaborative manner
