As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be accountable for smooth and efficient running of the manufacturing process, working with Manufacturing and Technology teams to deliver NPI.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing, issuing and setting-up of data and instructions for the running of the work centre
  • Verifying equipment and tool availability and are in full working order for the designated task, before commencement and at completion of the task
  • Operating work centre equipment, visually observing and periodically checking all operating parameters of equipment
  • Creating and approving Combined Operating Instructions (COIs) for equipment and processes
  • Assisting Production Engineering in tracking process problems and recommending and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborating with Health & Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering to ensure safe and optimal performance on the work centre


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Higher National Certificate or Diploma in a science or Mechanical / Electrical Engineering discipline
  • Have the ability to read and interpret contracts, engineering drawings, product specifications, industry codes, and ISO regulations
  • Have experience in effective interfacing and communication with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences, including suppliers and internal/external customers.
  • Experience of attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and personal organization skills.
  • Have proven capacity to analyse data to make sound decisions
