EPC Sourcing Leader (Subsea Production System)

Take ownership for project management

As an EPC Sourcing Leader, you will be responsible to negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

 

  • Developing, planning, and managing EPC project procurement plan and programs to meet customer commitments and project delivery through EPC Sourcing coordination and procurement delivery plan.
  • Partnering with business leadership and regional teams to drive OTD/Quality for key EPC projects.
  • Managing the complete purchasing and contract administration functions for EPC Project as required to meet Sourcing strategy program commitments.
  • Executing EPC sourcing strategy targets on price, delivery, quality and service necessary to meet requirements. Deliver and maintain key sourcing metrics on OTD, Deflation, Project savings,
  • Developing and implementing standard EPC Sourcing rhythm and procedures to standardize procurement plan for key EPC project with focus on OTD, Quality and Project savings.
  • Developing EPC procurement plan overview for key EPC project to be utilized for project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing for evaluation of suppliers' capabilities and identification of appropriate items to buy.
  • Ensuring supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements.
  • Driving sourcing strategy and lead a team with process responsibility to develop comprehensive supplier/buyer contractual relationships to meet the business needs.
  • Partnering with Supplier Quality and Compliance to drive quality initiatives and vendor recovery for Sourcing.
  • Leading customer/sourcing interaction stakeholder meetings and EPC customer project update meeting rhythms.

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

  • Have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven years in a similar role for Oil & Gas Operators.
  • Have minimum 10 years of sourcing experience.
  • Have prior experience working for EPC project is preferred.
  • Have prior experience working from subsea/Oil & Gas background is preferred.
  • Have good command for English both in speaking and writing
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Be able to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Have leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
