Department
QatarEnergy Internal Audit Department provides independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment. Teams of audit professionals undertake audit assignments within the company. The individual will work as part of a team and in some instances will be required to lead the team in conducting audit assignments of the company's processes and functions. We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced individual to join the Internal Audit Team. The ideal candidate must have: ? A Bachelor's degree in an accounting, financial, engineering, economics, or other relevant discipline. ? A minimum of 5 years internal auditing experience, including 2 years industry experience. ? Experience (minimum 2 years) in the oil and gas industry is preferred. ? Engineering background (e.g. experience in projects, etc.) is preferred. ? Knowledge or expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, tableau, etc. ? Leadership skills to drive change, instill best practices, routine contact with QatarEnergy's senior executives ? Flexible approach and be team focused. It is preferred that the candidate has an engineering degree or an engineering background and 2 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.

SR. INTERNAL AUDITOR (Projects & Contracts Audits)

Primary Purpose of Job
Lead or participate in the individual audit assignments / investigation assignments / special reviews planning, execution, reporting, and follow ups of audit recommendations as per the approved audit plan, as assigned. The purpose of the assignments is to provide objective and independent assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes (including, where appropriate, the outcome of investigations) in QatarEnergy and its subsidiaries / JVs.

Education
1. A Bachelor's degree in an accounting, financial, engineering, economics, or other relevant discipline 2. It is preferred that the candidate has an engineering degree 3. Valid membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners etc.) is desirable 4. Accounting or Auditing certification is beneficial

Experience & Skills
1. Has a minimum of 5 years internal auditing experience, including 2 years industry experience 2. Experience (minimum 2 years) in the oil and gas industry is preferred 3. Engineering background (e.g. experience in projects, etc.) is preferred 4. Knowledge or expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. 5. Strong English language and excellent writing skills 6. Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills 7. Analytical skills and good judgment 8. Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees 9. Management skills in resolving audit / investigation related issues tactfully 10. Innovation and initiative 11. Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously 12. Excellent interviewing skills
