Department
QatarEnergy's Internal Audit Department provides independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment. Teams of audit professionals undertake audit assignments within the company. The individual will work as part of a team and in some instances will be required to lead multi-discipline teams in conducting audit assignments of processes and functions in QatarEnergy and its subsidiaries / Joint Ventures. We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced individual to join the Internal Audit Team. The ideal candidate must have: ? A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent. ? Has a minimum of 5 years internal auditing experience, including 2 years in the oil and gas industry. ? Experience in Internal Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Tax. ? Knowledge or expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, tableau, etc. ? Leadership skills to drive change, instill best practices, routine contact with QatarEnergy's senior executives ? A flexible approach and be team focused. ? Experience in energy commodities markets and LNG trading would be an added advantage.

SR. INTERNAL AUDITOR

Primary Purpose of Job
Lead or participate in the individual audit assignments / investigation assignments / special reviews planning, execution, reporting, and follow ups of audit recommendations as per the approved audit plan, as assigned. The purpose of the assignments is to provide objective and independent assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes (including, where appropriate, the outcome of investigations) in QatarEnergy and its subsidiaries / Joint Ventures.

Education
1. A Bachelors Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent 2. Valid membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners etc.) is desirable 3. Accounting or Auditing certification is beneficial

Experience & Skills
1. Has a minimum of 5 years internal auditing experience, including 2 years industry experience 2. Experience (minimum 2 years) in the oil and gas industry is preferred 3. Experience in Internal Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Tax 4. Knowledge or expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau etc 5. Leadership skills to drive change, instill best practices, routine contact with QatarEnergy's senior executives 6. Flexible approach and be team focused 7. Experience in energy commodities markets and LNG trading would be an added advantage 8. Strong English language and excellent writing skills 9. Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills 10. Analytical skills and good judgment 11. Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees 12.
